Do I need to know how to code?+
No. You talk to Claude in plain words and it does the technical part — installing, building and rendering. If anything is unclear, ask Claude: the skill teaches it how to explain every step. Watch the one-minute setup guide.
What do I need installed?+
Just the Claude desktop app (Code tab) on a paid Claude plan — or Claude Code with an API key. The helper tools it needs (Node.js, FFmpeg, Chrome) are checked by Claude, which installs anything missing only after you say yes.
Do I get a finished video, or just layers?+
Both. Every project ends with a finished MP4 — your clip, the effects and the audio — ready to post. Want changes? Ask Claude and it re-renders. The separate effect layers are a bonus for hand-editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut desktop or any editor that reads ProRes 4444 or WebM with transparency.
What is a "matte" and do I need one?+
A matte is a cut-out of the person in your clip. Only templates marked matte need one — they place text or images behind you. CapCut's "Remove background", Runway, Premiere and DaVinci can all make one in a click. Without it, Claude moves those layers into empty space instead.
Does it work in my language?+
Yes. Prompts, captions and on-screen text can be in any language. The skill loads the right font subsets so accents render correctly; for scripts like Japanese, Arabic or Thai, bring a font that covers them.
Can I use the videos commercially?+
Yes. One license covers your own brand and channels as well as videos you deliver to clients.
Will it make fake reviews or retouched before/afters?+
No — by design. Reviews, ratings, stats and deadlines must be yours and real; before/after photos are never retouched; comparison tables never name competitors. That keeps you on the right side of platform rules and advertising law.
